This residence called Nomura 24 House, designed by Antonino Cardillo and displaying original architecture and design features. The project is located in Hyōgo, overlooking Ōsaka bay, Japan and is structured on two levels. Here is more from the press release: “Inside, on the first floor, a large polygonal living room with seven sides possesses the inexact quality of certain medieval Italian piazzas, on whose sides the openings – now windows, now doorways – describe multiple directions of aspect and travel. Do you think that the design of the building corresponds to its function?

The home sits on soft ground that necessitated the use of stakes to support its weight. The residents of the impressive home wanted a distinctive building that was bathed in natural light on the inside. This is achieved partially with the massive window on the front protrusion. Do you like it?

Gifu is basically an earthquake prone area, and this seems to be an excellent precautionary measure taken to contain any dramatic natural fury.
