What is zen? It’s harmony and relaxation; in an interior it not only Asian features but harmonious minimalist style. You may use even the most minimalist colors like black, white or grey – there should be a harmony, nothing unnecessary, no abundant accessories and other things. You may also add some Japanese, Chinese and Indian theme accessories like candles, a baldaquin, figures and flowers. Don’t be afraid to make your bedroom green – that’s the color of nature, a red or crimson – that would add passion. The materials should be natural, add some plants and flowers – even as a wall décor – they would complete the zen look.

Looks terrific.
These are good photos but one must be very careful using the word ‘Zen’, or a ‘Zen look’, though. I think the closest to a ‘Zen look’ here is the one with the gray fabrics and almost nothing in it except the bed!
Zen is not relaxation. Neither does it mind if it is in or out of fashion.
