The new project by Giancarlo Zema, an architect known for his organic maritime designs, is an unbelievable semi-submerged hotel resort.

Amphibious 1000 has a form resembling some strange aquatic creature. It spans across 1 kilometer and has both land and sea sections. The land section comprises of a tower that houses a panoramic-view restaurant and is surrounded by a marina with a harbor, residential buildings and offices.

The sea section branches out like some giant tentacles. It consists of 80 floating, jellyfish-like suites that will provide the guests with stunning underwater views. The 4 hotels will also have diagonal glass windows, underwater halls, water exhibition galleries, marine life museum, an aquarium and an underwater observatory.

A 20 meter aluminum yacht powered with hydrogen engines and some additional underwater vistas called the Trilobis will provide transportation within the resort.
